HAILEY
Hailey passed over the Rainbow Bridge on 3/18/22. She was a Redland's dog, only around 1 year old. She was brought to Blessed Paws with her 2 puppies. Unfortunately, we lost our mama dog. RIP Hailey girl
Dono was a great teacher
And love was his language.
I was shocked when I learned the story when he was rescued from the shelter by Vicki
Can you imagine two men side by side Holding this dangerous beast that was coming out from that place
But you know what ?
He was looking for the most important thing in the world
LOVE
he was abused, he didn’t trust anyone and he was rescued the very same day the shelter was going to euthanized him.
SO THIS IS WHERE THE LORD PUT US TOGETHER
We called them our ROYAL HANDSOME BOY
The most delicate and humble dog ever wow and the way he looked I still can see his eyes ♥️♥️looking at us.
He loved the children in our family and was amazing with other animals.
Thanks to Edel and Vicky. We were blessed with him.
It was a very difficult journey
At the beginning He was scared practically out of everything
We heard him bark for the first time eight months after his arrival to our home.
After a few months, we looked for a companion for him.
he picked his sister up from Vicki’s. Her name is Nina and She still was a puppy and let me tell you he was very patient with her
The two of them were inseparable, and she was a great teacher for him
She taught him how to trust people and be more open… really how to enjoy more life.
We are going to miss him badly
But but he’s going to live in our hearts forever
My lesson…
Give yourself a chance to adopt a shy dog. Maybe their beginnings can be tough but inside of them lays a great love ready to be given to a loving family. And you could be surprised how that dog can get the best out of you and you will feel loved in a very amazing way.
Yda, Ricardo and Nina.

JOY
Joy is a 10 yr old pitbull that was found on the streets, her finder did a source adoption through the shelter and Blessed Paws found her the best home ever! We are broken hearted that we had to say goodbye as she had terminal cancer. We will miss you Joy!

PATRON/APPOLO
Patron was adopted in 2019 his family renamed him Apollo. Sadly, his family had to let him go over the rainbow bridge in 2023 due to his suffering from prostatic cancer. He will be forever loved and missed but lives on in his families hearts forever.

SASSY
It's been just over a year since we pulled Sassy from our local shelter. We believe she may have been older than the 9 years that they stated. She lived a year before she passed. In her final year she knew what love was! Her fosters did a fantastic job getting here ready for her furever home and her paw-rents gave her the best life! Sassy was adored by the entire neighborhood 💕

BRACE
We are heartbroken to say our senior girl, Brace, passed away on Saturday night.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to her care, she was immensely loved and her foster dad said she was adopted the second she came home.

MR. BENTLEY
Yesterday we received news that Mr. Bentley crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 We are deeply saddened as Bentley was one of our first pups in the rescue. He was adopted in 2017!
His mom writes:
He was one GREAT schnauzer dog.
He was courageous, strong, loyal, smart and loving.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him, but especially mom, Katherine, and dad, Mike.
Rest easy 💙

ABU
Blessed Paws want to pay tribute to Abu who passed away on Wednesday. Abu was not a Blessed Paws dog but his Daddy is a big supporter of ours helping us in gaining significant donations and support. Abu was a loyal, loving companion and he will be sorely missed. In his memory his daddy very generously donated $500 to help another dog in need - thank you 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️💥

UMBERTO
Sadly our little Umberto has crossed the rainbow bridge. Umberto came to us with a high load heartworm, we wanted to give him every chance at life and started treatment, We are thankful that Frank Forte fostered Umberto through his first heartworm treatment. Unfortunately following his first treatment we discovered that Umberto had very advanced cancer and we had to make the sad decision to humanely euthanize him this week. We tried our best to help Umberto but it wasn't to be. Thank you all so much for your support and a special thank you to Frank Forte who cared for Umberto through this.

CHOPPER
Rest in peace my sweet boy you were my mirror reflection in this world. You are my spirit animal now.
He was not the perfect dog for anybody else but he was the perfect dog for me. RiP baby love bug

FOX
Its with a broken heart that we had to let this mystical creature we called Fox cross the rainbow bridge to be with his sister Shortie in Heaven. 11 years wasn't enough time. If love could have saved you, you would still be here. RIP to the best dog ever he was loved by everyone that knew him

SHORTY
RIP Shortie girl you were a true ambassador for the pit bull breed you were our 1st pitbull and if it were not for your amazing temperament I would have never had the faith to Foster over 200 pit bulls because of you they live and were given a second chance. When my son decided he wanted a pitbull I was a little concerned but shortie won my heart she was the sweetest dog and she loved all other dogs she greeted everybody they came to our door over 500 dogs she made them feel like they were safe and had a new best friend. Run free on the other side of the rainbow bridge baby girl I will see you again some day standing right next to Ranbo 💔💔💔💔

Deja
Deja came to us in August of 2022 she was a senior with senior medical issues. She found her forever home and was loved and taken care of till she developed dementia and could no longer walk or enjoy life in January of 2024. We wish your original family could have stayed by your side in your senior years buy we tried to make them the best we.

DEBBIE & DELILAH
Debbie & Delilah came onto the rescue from a backyard breeder that was shut down. They had lived their lives in a wire cage outside. We believed them to be mother & daughter. They where nicknamed by their foster as the Stackables because they always laid on top of each other. Adopted into a wonderful caring loving home where they spent their retirement as princesses. Both have now passed but not before they knew real love

CASEY
Casey was a super senior when her dad passed and she came into the rescue
She was adopted and loved by her new family and has now joined her human dad on the other side of the rainbow bridge. Doesn't matter how short of a time we have them they still leave a hole in our hearts when they go.

Momma was a dog that we where helping. She came into the vets with a broken leg after surgery they found out she had cancer and was in need of fospice care. An amazing lady stepped up and took her in and loved her till her last day on earth. She knew an amazing love before she went over the rainbow bridge. We want to honor her memory and the selfless act of her foster mom ❤️

GRACIE
Gracie was a heartworm positive senior running out of time at our local shelter she was rescued by us before we where an official rescue. She lived many more happy years as a loved member in her forever home. She is one I will never forget

ELLIE

IVORY AKA EMMA

MICHAEL
Michael was a good dog with a kind spirit. He was loyal and supportive. He always seemed to know when I needed him. Once we bonded, there was no getting between us and I loved him for it. Michael was everything someone might want in a companion.
